Camping Los Madriles Campsite Reviews

We contacted the owners, as usual, to say we will be arriving at Los Madriles in 2 months time (mid Dec.) as we have done for the last 16 years.

By return on email we were told that we were no longer allowed to visit!! We immediately phoned asking what we had done to upset them. No reason was given. We then emailed again, this time in Spanish, but received no reply. One more email was sent pleading for an answer, but again no response.

This form of action, we have noticed from the owners over the many years, is typical. Many other tourists have suffered a similar fate for no apparent reason. Everyone on the campsite is incredibly careful not to get on the wrong side of either of the owners who have been known to throw you off without discussion.
We have been accepting of this scenario for 16 years as the camp itself has been a great place to stay for the winter. Sadly, after Covid, many of the facilities have been changed – more casitas built, fewer boule pitches, no more dances etc,
