Well located, friendly staff, clean but avoid the rainy season!

positives: This very large site is well located, just 10 mins walk from a lovely beach and 15mins walk into town. The staff were super-friendly and spoke great english. Basic shop and cafe on site. Excellent free wifi, good laundry on site
negatives: pitches more designed for moho than caravan, some quite small. power posts can be quite some way (we needed to make a 5m extension to reach ours). lots of trees shedding onto sandy soil so can be quite dirty, especially when wet. when it did rain, we found ourselves in a 6” deep lake and had to move. showers buildings are cold, small cubicles so everything gets wet. quite expensive, even with ACSI card out of season at €26 a night
probably quite nice in early or late season, not so much in winter and we were told that in summer it is rammed.
